What do you learn in the OMNI hypnosis training course?
In four intensive days of lessons, you will discover what hypnosis is – and, above all, how to apply it. Among other things, you will learn:
- The Dave Elman induction: a proven method for putting people into hypnosis quickly and safely.
- The fundamentals of hypnosis: not only the how and what, but also why something works and when it doesn’t.
- Self-hypnosis: how to teach clients (and yourself) to relax and focus using simple techniques.
- Applications: think of themes such as quitting smoking, dealing with stress or sleeping better. You will learn how to use these techniques professionally and responsibly in your own work practice.
You practise every day. In pairs or threes, with feedback from your teacher and fellow students. Everything is done in small groups, so there is plenty of room for personal guidance.

Practical structure with room for in-depth learning The training consists of four intensive days of classes from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00/6:00 p.m. (depending on the group dynamics). Each day is structured yet flexible, with room for questions, reflection, and interaction. You can count on: We ask participants not to make any audio or video recordings, so that there is complete attention and confidentiality during the sessions. Study materials and additional costs All necessary study materials are included in the course. There are no additional costs for the purchase of books or materials. During the course, literature recommendations are made for further reading, but these are optional and not required for successful completion of the course.GuidanceThe course is taught in a classroom setting by experienced teachers. During the course days, there is room for questions, interaction, and practice. Outside and after the course days, participants can ask questions, preferably via the online learning platform or chat function. We are also available by email or phone. There is no individual progress guidance.

Costs and payment terms
The total cost of this course is €1590. This course is VAT exempt. You will receive a payment discount for immediate online payment. The discount will be displayed during the registration process.
The standard payment method is by invoice. The full amount must be credited to our account no later than the first day of the course. Payment in installments is possible, provided the course is booked well in advance. The number of installments depends on the time of registration. Please contact us for the options. Please note: if you register shortly before the start date, payment in installments is no longer possible. In that case, the full amount must be paid in one lump sum before the start of the course.
Study load
This course consists of:
- 4 classroom days with a total of 30 contact hours with the instructor
- Approximately 30 hours of self-study
The total study load is approximately 60 hours, which corresponds to 2 EC (European Credits). No exemptions are possible for this course.
Exemption for (part of) this course is not possible. Participants from other training institutes who have previously completed hypnosis training will not be granted exemptions, as other courses do not match the content, working methods, and quality requirements of the ISO 9001-certified hypnotherapy protocol and the scientifically validated Dave Elman/Gerald Kein induction method that is central to our course.
Participant entry level
This training is given at HBO (higher professional education) level and is open to participants with an MBO-4 diploma or those who have an HBO working and thinking level. Prior knowledge of hypnosis is required.

The combination of OMNI hypnosis training (basic) together with OMNI hypnotherapy training is sufficient to be able to work as a hypnotherapist via the Catcollectief professional association.
Assessment and evaluation
The development of knowledge and skills is assessed on the basis of active participation in classroom meetings, the performance of practical exercises, and involvement during the course days. Participants practice the practical applications of the training under the guidance of the instructor, with room for feedback and personal guidance.
Qualifications and certificates
After successfully completing the training, participants receive a certificate of participation from HypnoseMentor / OMNI Hypnosis Training Center Netherlands.
This certificate confirms that the participant has actively participated in all training days.
The training is intended for therapists, reorienters, and healthcare providers who want to develop or expand their knowledge and skills in the field of hypnosis.
The training does not provide a professional qualification in the sense of a legally recognized diploma, but it can contribute to registration or re-registration within professional associations or accreditation institutions, depending on the individual situation of the participant.
If applicable, the certificate can be used as proof of continuing education credits with recognized professional associations.
Some participants can use the certificate as part of a portfolio in the context of professional development, continuing education requirements, or third-party accreditation requirements. If necessary, consult your professional association for recognition within your professional group.
Practical information regarding registration
You can register up to 3 days before the start of the training, as long as there are still places available. Would you still like to register within this period? Please feel free to contact us. In some cases, last-minute participation is still possible, provided there is space and the administration can be completed on time.
After registration, you will receive a confirmation email with practical information and the invoice. Participation is final after payment or confirmation of the invoice.
No later than 2 to 3 weeks before the start date, you will receive an email informing you whether the training course will definitely take place. If the required minimum number of participants is reached earlier, we will inform you sooner.
Registration conditions
- The course can be canceled free of charge within 14 days. After this period, the cancellation conditions as described in the NRTO’s general terms and conditions apply.
- HypnoseMentor may decide to cancel if there are fewer than four participants. HypnoseMentor cannot be held responsible for costs incurred by the participant in connection with the course, such as travel and accommodation expenses.
- In the event of cancellation by HypnoseMentor, the costs paid by the student will be refunded within seven days.
- The student is expected to participate in person during the specified classroom study hours.
- At the end of the course, the student will be asked to complete an evaluation.
- The costs include a manual in Dutch that will be provided to the student.

Hoewel onze opleiding niet officieel wordt aangeboden onder de titel opleiding tot hypnose coach, wordt ze door veel deelnemers wél als zodanig ervaren. Je leert in de OMNI basisopleiding namelijk hoe je mensen professioneel en effectief in hypnose brengt, hoe je hypnotische technieken inzet om gedragsverandering te begeleiden en hoe je werkt met het onderbewuste — vaardigheden die uitstekend passen binnen een coachende context.
Wat deze opleiding onderscheidt, is de sterke praktijkgerichtheid, het internationale certificaat én de diepgang in hypnotherapeutisch denken. Wil je als coach hypnose integreren in je praktijk, dan biedt deze opleiding een zeer stevige en professionele basis. Wil je daarna verder specialiseren als hypnotherapeut, dan is er een logisch vervolgtraject beschikbaar.

Met deze basisopleiding leg je een solide basis in hypnose. Om officieel als hypnotherapeut aan de slag te gaan, is het nodig deze opleiding te combineren met de OMNI hypnotherapie opleiding. Kan ik direct aan de slag met het certificaat van de OMNI hypnose opleiding
Voor diegenen die de opleiding als aanvulling op hun huidige beroep overwegen, of andere persoonlijke overwegingen hebben, hangt de toepasbaarheid van de opleiding af van specifieke factoren zoals vooropleiding en professionele doelstellingen. Neem gerust contact met ons op mocht je ergens over twijfelen.
Stap je over naar een nieuw beroep, dan adviseren we je om ook de OMNI-hypnotherapie (gevorderd) te volgen.
